I heard about this inexpensive filtered water bottle and couldn't wait to go get one! I went to Target at 9:30pm ( very late for me to be out) and I got it last night! I was sick of spending money on bottles water and I have been drinking TONS of water lately so I knew this would be some of the best $12 I have spent during this pregnancy!

Yes, I do enjoy some finer things in life so why not get a Tory Burch diaper bag? Jeff hears the same thing every Christmas/birthday... I have always wanted a Tory Burch bag, so what a great time to get my 1st!

I am definitely in an interesting size period of pants right now. I still fit in my jeans... kinda, and look like I just gave up on myself for a while. I am getting very excited to finally have a bump that looks like I am pregnant and not just chowing down whenever I want. These jeans are a must have for me!

                                                                Scarves... Lots of scarves

Scarves are my new best friend this soon to be coming fall! Scarves fit you no matter how big my belly ( and the rest of me) get! They are also a good hiding accessory for the time in between!

                                                                   Comfy yoga pants

Without a doubt, every day when I get home from work I have changed into one of my many black yoga pants, a tank and a cozy pull over sweater ( I am always cold...i know its weird).

I am trying to imagin how Stewie is going to handle the change of having a baby around soon... I do worry only that he is terrified of the stroller and has had a history of eating baby toys ( How should he know they are not his?)

12 weeks

Today was a long day! I started out by working a 1/2 day at school, running to the orthodontist ( to repair a broken fixed retainer...not fun) a quick work out at the gym and then off to my doc appt! Everything is looking good and we got to have another ultrasound today, last one until we find out the sex at 20 weeks. Our little baby actually looks more like a human :).

I am very excited to be coming to the end of my 1st trimester! It is crazy how fast it has gone. I can't believe I am 1/3 of the way to bringing home baby! It is definitely feeling more and more real as my clothes are all getting a little tighter each day and Jeff broke down and let me buy some of my first maternity clothes! I can't believe we all don't choose to wear maternity pants all the time, they are SOO comfortable! haha. And nothing like an excuse to buy new clothes!

We're having a baby!!

I am finally saying it out loud! "I"M EXPECTING!"

These past 12 weeks have been a whole new world for my little family of myself, Jeff and our crazy dog Stewart. Let me catch you up....

 We had an amazing summer... We started our vacation out by our annual trip to Vegas with some of our best friends! We had lots of time to catch up with family (which is always a good time had by all), and my girlfriends and I spent a good amount of time laying by the pool and enjoying our well deserved time off!  All in all I can't complain, we had a wonderful summer and to top it off...

July 25 we found out that we were going to have a baby!! We were so excited, and timing couldn't have been better... oh wait... Jeff had also just found out his company had been bought and he was unemployed! I knew at that time that everything would be okay and would work out, and anyways we were so excited nothing else mattered! That week we decided to take a mini break from reality and stay at my parents lake house in Conroe for a week. Both Jeff and I wanted to wait and keep it to ourselves just for a couple of weeks. That was very hard for me to do and if you know me well, you probably understand why I was pretty much in hiding ( I definitly missed my happy hours). Finally at around 6 weeks we could not keep it in an longer and told our family ( oh and half of Austin at J.Blacks...). My sister said she knew right away, I mean she offered me a drink and I turned it down... haha. Both our families are thrilled and we are so happy to bless them both with their first grandchild!
All in all, I have had a very smooth pregnancy so far and hoping for that to continue! We have had two doctor appointments and I go back for a third on Monday! It has been nice to be back at work, it keeps me busy and I have had a wonderful school year so far!

We have a lot to look forward to and can't wait to see what all is to come!
